Institute Instructors for the 2012 Institute:
• Michael LoMonico, Senior Consultant on National Education at the Folger Shakespeare Library. Mr. LoMonico is also a retired teacher with over thirty years experience in the classroom. • Dr. George Ray, Professor Emerita of English at Washington and Lee University. Dr. Ray is an editor of early modern dramatic texts and currently serves as Chairman of the Education Committee of the The English-Speaking Union of the United States. • Dr. Sid Ray, Chair & Professor of English and Women and Gender Studies at Pace University, New York City. She has published several books and essays on Shakespeare and issues in early modern culture. • Rob Mish, Director of the Lenfest Center for the Arts and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Washington and Lee University. He has taught and directed theatre at middle, high and university levels.
Accommodations (optional): The Sheridan Livery Inn (35 N. Main St. Lexington, VA) has set aside a limited number of discounted rooms for Shakespeare Set Free Institute attendees. All rooms are $89.00 (including tax). Price includes a Continental breakfast, free parking and wireless Internet. Attendees are responsible for reserving with the inn. Reservations must be received by July 5th, 2012 to qualify for the special rate. Reservations received after that date will be subject to the standard rate and availability.
