Darrell W. Hill was an economics major in the Honors Program at Howard University when he used his Luard Scholarship to study at The London School of Economics and Political Science, London, England. During his year abroad he lived at the International Students House, worked as a bartender, and traveled throughout Western Europe and Morocco. Upon return to Howard, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude in 1992. In 2001, Darrell received his MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University

Darrell is the Corporate Finance marketing manager at William Blair & Company, a position he has held since February 2004. Before joining William Blair & Company, he was a consultant with Prophet Brand Strategy, a brand strategy consulting firm. In addition, Darrell has worked for The Northern Trust Company in Chicago and for Credit Suisse First Boston in New York City.
Darrell serves his community as a Commissioner for the Village of Matteson Parks & Recreation Department, as a Board member of the Advocate Charitable Foundation and as chair of the Development Council at Advocate South Suburban Hospital. He is also an active member of the local chapter of the Howard University Alumni Association and an active alumnus of his high school alma mater, St. Ignatius College Prep.
Darrell and his wife Anisha currently live in the Chicago suburbs with their three children: Winston, William and Alaina.
